What we do

Vocational Education and Training (VET) plays an important role in helping learners develop practical skills and gain experience that can support their future careers. Through Erasmus+ mobility opportunities, VET learners can take part in work placements and training experiences abroad, developing their professional skills while discovering new cultures, working environments and ways of learning.    

Check-IN Association offers participants the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures, grow professionally, establish valuable contacts and connections at local and international level, and become more aware of their own identity. Aiming at the participants’ professional and personal development, we also work to help them feel like European citizens. We believe that international mobility is an important opportunity for intercultural learning, personal growth and professional development.
We have 16 years of experience in coordinating and supporting VET mobilities in Lisbon, Portugal. We create programmes upon request, allowing partners to choose from the services we offer and enabling us to develop a personalised programme according to their needs and budget. If you are interested in sending your participants to Portugal, we would be glad to begin a collaboration with your organisation and support your mobility project.

Work Placement

We match participants with suitable companies and organisations according to their vocational profile, learning objectives and mobility period.

Accommodation

We help arrange suitable accommodation in Lisbon, taking into account the needs of each group and the available budget

Local Transport

We provide guidance on public transport and help participants navigate Lisbon during their mobility.

Monitoring & Support

Our team stays in contact with participants, host organisations and sending partners throughout the mobility, providing support whenever needed.

Cultural Programme

We can organise cultural visits and activities that allow participants to discover Lisbon, Portuguese culture and life beyond their workplace.

Documentation & Evaluation

We support the mobility process with the necessary documentation, evaluations and certificates, in coordination with the sending organisation.

Tailor-Made Programmes

Every mobility is different. We create programmes adapted to the participants’ professional profiles, learning objectives, duration, interests and budget.

Partner Support

From the initial planning to the end of the mobility, we maintain communication with our international partners and provide local support throughout the experience.

This experience had a very strong impact on me, both personally and professionally. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow in many ways. Even though the beginning was difficult, overcoming those challenges made me stronger and more aware of myself.
