About the project
GAMMOPOLY – The Game of Life for Adult Education is a European strategic partnership in the field of adult education, promoting access to innovative non-formal learning methods. The project addresses the challenges faced by many adults in adapting to a constantly changing labour market that is increasingly digital and focused on lifelong learning, particularly in developing skills such as communication, teamwork, negotiation and problem-solving. The project’s main innovation is the development of GAMMOPOLY, a board game that simulates different situations and challenges throughout various stages of life, enabling participants to develop personal, social and professional skills through experiential learning. The game addresses topics such as resource management, decision-making, negotiation, time management, conflict resolution and adapting to unexpected situations. The project also aims to strengthen the skills of adult education professionals, including trainers, psychologists, coaches and human resources specialists, by providing guidance, training and practical tools to support adults with different skill levels and socio-economic backgrounds. The resources developed include the board game, a workshop version and a methodological toolkit. The project also includes specialist training, testing sessions with adults and multiplier events in the five partner countries, promoting social inclusion and better preparation for the labour market.

Activities
Project Management
November 2019 to May 2022 - Romania, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Spain - Three transnational partner meetings were held to coordinate, monitor and follow up on the implementation of the project activities and results. The meetings enabled partners to assess progress across the different project phases, define next steps, follow the development of the game and toolkit, and ensure effective collaboration among the partner organisations.
Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA)
February 2022 - Lublin, Poland - A training activity was organised for adult education professionals, aiming to develop their skills in using the GAMMOPOLY game in non-formal education contexts. The training enabled participants to experience the game, explore its facilitation methodology and debriefing process, and share experiences and good practices for its use.
