About the project
The Design YOU(TH) Future project combines design thinking, crisis-solving and social entrepreneurship to empower young people and their organisations to respond creatively and effectively to the socio-economic challenges of their communities. Through design thinking, the project develops skills to identify and analyse complex problems, stimulate critical thinking and create innovative responses to crisis situations. The methodology encourages young people to move from identifying problems to creating and experimenting with solutions, using iterative prototyping and testing processes to transform ideas into viable entrepreneurial proposals. At the same time, the project aims to strengthen young people's autonomy in designing, developing and managing projects, increasing their ability to make decisions and respond to the needs of their local communities. This empowerment process also extends to participating organisations, which benefit from new tools to innovate, develop projects and respond more effectively to the needs of their communities. In this way, the project promotes a culture of creativity, participation and social entrepreneurship, helping young people and organisations become better prepared to face current and future challenges. The exchange of knowledge between the European partners strengthens the transnational dimension and supports the development of solutions adapted to different local contexts.
