From here we RISE is a project that promotes the engaged participation of people coming from disadvantaged backgrounds (migrants, ethnic minorities, roma communities) in decision making proccesses. It is also an important goal to ensure to strengthen the cooperation between civil societies and citizens with the decision makers who can mitigate many of the challanges these people face, improving their life quality.
With this aims in mind, the partners decided to undertake a gender-based research study, analyzing the social and economic effects on vulnerable groups; to develop a series of debates and seminars, focusing on the fundamental rights of vulnerable groups and to raise awareness and actively counter disinformation, through a campagin, a publication and a workshop focusing on media literacy.
