Art Attack is a project that aims to infiltrate the world of non-formal education with criativity and artistic methods. The group of partners is constituted by organisations from Portugal, Italy and Austria, experienced in the field of non-formal education and youth sector for more than ten years.
Together, the partners involved in the project observed in youngsters clear signs that their mental health is at danger: anxiety, depression, lack of motivation and feelings of uncertainty towards the future. This projects comes as an answer to this new social context, aiming to re-motivate youngsters to develop their iniciative for a more positive future, and developing skills that make them more resilient, motivated and committed with their personal and professional development.
Art Attack is especially relevant because it offers a set of results that can help achieve the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in which Mental Health is one of the highlighted themes.

The project’s main activities
Kick-off meeting (Austria) to start preparing the next stages of the project
Create a general video of the project to gather the best moments and show its evolution, collecting small moments from all the organised activities.
Training for youth workers to deepen creativity and work with young people. This training course is designed to replicate an artistic residency, allowing an holistic learning experience.
Which partner will implement a local workshop to raise awareness of the project’s theme?
A manual that compiles all the stages of the project, partners, methods and exercises used during the two years of the project. This booklet will also serve as a future reference for all young people, youth workers and educators who want to discover new tools for their work.
